What We Believe

A MORE INTIMATE KNOWLEDGE OF OUR SAVIOR

------------------------------------------------
~ Whitestone Christian Fellowship has been formed as a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

~ We believe in God; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit:  One God, revealing Himself in three Persons, yet indivisible one from another in a Holy Trinity, according to Deuteronomy 6:4-5, heart, soul, and body.

~ We believe that the sacrifice of Jesus Christ paid the debt for our sin, and that His Resurrection affords us the only opportunity we have to gain Eternal Life with Him, with the Father and with the Holy Spirit.

~ We believe in the authority of God's Word as we seek to know Him and have fellowship with Him and with other Believers.

~ We believe the worship of God should be Spiritual, so we remain flexible and yielded to the Holy Spirit to direct our worship of Him.

~ We believe the worship of God should be inspirational, so we give great place to music in our worship of Him.

We believe the worship of God should be intelligent, so our services are founded upon the teaching of God's Word that He might instruct us in all the ways He desires to be worshiped.

We believe the worship of God is fruitful, so we look for His love in our lives as the supreme manifestation that we are in "worshipful" knowledge of His daily presence with us.

Our greatest desire is to know Jesus and to be conformed into His image daily, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

We are a not a denominational church, nor are we opposed to those that are.  We choose to remain independent from denominations because of doctrinal and dogmatic differences that have led to division within the Body of Christ.

"He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone, a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it." Revelation 2:17

This is God's three-fold promise to believers:  Greater knowledge of God; Vindication of our sin; and a new identity in Christ.
